Cross-Listed Courses

Courses may be cross listed across departments if they:

• Have the same course level (the same first digit in the course number field)
• Have the same syllabus
• Have the same number of credit hours
• Have the same grading mode (Standard vs. P/F)
• Meet at the same time, in the same place, with the same instructor(s)
• Incorrect cross-listed courses will be uncross-listed by Academic Scheduling

Courses may be cross listed across levels (UG/GR) if they:

• Have the same course titles
• Have the same number of credit hours
• Have the same grading mode (Standard vs. P/F)
• Meet at the same time, in the same place, with the same instructor(s)
• Have syllabi for the courses that clearly specify how the work load differs per level
• Incorrect cross-listed courses will be uncross-listed by Academic Scheduling
